    What is Residential Care?

Residential Care at Family Services United provides a safe and supportive living environment for adults with I/DD who need 24/7 assistance.

We’re committed to fostering a space where residents are respected, valued, and empowered to live life on their own terms. Currently, we have 12 residental care homes located in Point Breeze, Penn Hills, and Leechburg.

    What We Offer

    24/7 Comprehensive Care

Around-the-clock support tailored to each resident’s unique needs, including medical and daily living assistance.

    Emotional Support

Staff who prioritize not only the physical but also the emotional well-being of each resident.

    Engaging Activities

Regular (over 100 every year) social outings and on-site events to encourage connection and enjoyment.

    Safe Living Spaces

Comfortable and secure environments where our residents can relax and feel at ease.

How our Residential Care Program Bridges the I/DD Gap

We don’t just provide a place to stay; we create a community where every resident feels seen and supported. Our team builds real relationships, getting to know each person beyond their care needs to help them thrive in all aspects of life. At FSU, every resident is a cherished member of our community.
