Respite Care

Family Services United offers temporary short term Respite Care to adults with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities (IDD).  Our Respite Care service is setup to give Caregivers a break from their caring role and can be arranged for up to 30 days for scheduled appointments, planned breaks, short holidays or emergencies at our licensed facilities. 

Our Direct Support Professionals assist each Individual under our care in activities of daily living, promote the Individual’s choices, and ensures their health and safety.  Our services also provide opportunities for community engagement and  other recreational activities.
