Shirley Tolbert BSN, RN

Shirley Tolbert is a highly experienced registered nurse with over 23 years of expertise in various healthcare settings, including acute care, burn and trauma units, ICU, medical-surgical units, nursing management, and home care. Currently serving as the CEO and Director of Residential & Nursing Services at Family Services United, she oversees nursing operations, staff development, and patient care protocols, ensuring high standards and patient-centered care. She holds a Diploma in Nursing from the Western Pennsylvania School of Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University. Additionally, she is certified as a CNA instructor and has completed Medication Administration Trainer through the Office of Developmental Programs. In addition to her clinical expertise, Shirley has dedicated time to community service, counseling women battling drug addiction through Your Sister’s Project, a nonprofit organization.
