Companion Care

Companion Care is a form of home care offering non-medical services. The goal of Companion Care is primarily emotional support and socialization.  Companions may help with a variety of tasks including:

• Bathing and dressing
• Washing and folding clothing
• Socialization and entertainment
• Preparing meals and washing dishes
• Light housekeeping and household chores
• Running errands such as grocery shopping
• Transportation to appointments and other activities
• Planning and scheduling appointments and social activities
• Communicating with family members and other care team professionals
