When you have a loved one with an intellectual disability or when you have a veteran in your care, you’d want them to receive the best care possible. With your own responsibilities at work and in your personal life, this may be difficult; not to mention, you may not be able to address all their needs sufficiently.

But with them in our care, you can ensure that they will receive outstanding care services in an environment that is safe, socially enriching, and can promote independence.

Our residential services are designed to assist our veterans and individuals with intellectual disabilities in managing their conditions and improve their day-to-day life.

 In general, we offer services centered around assistance, support, and guidance such as physical assistance, instruction, prompting, and modeling. On the area of self-care, we offer health maintenance, decision-making, home and personal resources management, communication, mobility and transportation, relationship development and socialization such as personal adjustment, participating in community functions and activities, and using community resources, among others. 

Our care plans and the services we provide our residents are designed to improve outcomes and enhance their lives. What this means for us is helping our residents live their life to the fullest while creating a family atmosphere that promotes self-respect and independence.

Additionally, specific goals are developed for each of our resident based on their strengths and needs. This is along with the basic training provided for their daily living needs which includes communication, meal preparation, laundry, socialization, and recreational skill development.

We provide a family-friendly environment in an FSU-licensed home where all of our residents’ care needs are addressed. We also make sure to help them with all aspects of daily living to help them achieve maximum independence.

The level of support is determined by each individual need and may include:

• Attending medical appointments and transportation
• Money management
• Personal care
• Nutritional needs and wellness
• Safety, community integration, and recreation

We provide homemaker and chores services aimed not only at keeping the facility clean but also at making sure that every corner of it is sanitary and safe for our residents. These services are provided by our trained staff and include the following:

• Cleaning
• Laundry
• Meal preparation
• Other general household chores

We provide services designed to make the day-to-day needs and activities of our clients easier in their homes and communities. We can offer assistance with:

• Medication Management
• Budgeting
• Grocery Shopping
• Personal Hygiene Skills
• And more

Your support allows us to create a fun interactive environment with endless activities in house and outdoors.
